Who we are
Ababak connects customers with restaurants and shops in Qabatiya and with independent drivers who deliver the orders. The platform does not sell the products itself; the store is the seller.
Your account
You need a mobile number to create an account. You log in with WhatsApp: you send a code from your WhatsApp on that number. Your account stays logged in on your device. One account per number; one account can hold customer, merchant and driver roles.
Never share your login code. Tell us at once if you think someone else used your account.
Prices and payment
Prices are in whole shekels and include everything you pay for the products.
The delivery fee is 5 to 10 shekels, set by the real road distance and the driver's vehicle. You see the fee range before you confirm, the exact fee once a driver accepts, and it never goes above the top of the range you saw.
You can order from several stores in one delivery: one delivery fee plus 2 shekels for each extra store, and we show how much you save compared with ordering from each store on its own.
Payment is cash on delivery only. The total on the order page is what the driver collects.
Ordering and delivery
Each store accepts or rejects its order. If one store rejects its part of a multi-store order, the rest still comes. Preparation and delivery times are estimates.
The driver picks up when he taps “Picked up” and the store confirms with a button or from the notification. If the store does not confirm, the pickup still counts and the store gets a reminder after about 5 minutes. At delivery the driver or you tap “Delivered”; there is no code.
Points and invites
You earn 1 point for every shekel you pay, added once the order is delivered. Every 450 points is a free delivery on one order (up to 10 shekels). Points are personal, cannot be moved or cashed, and expire after 6 months without an order.
Invite a friend: you each get 50 points after their first delivered order, up to 10 invites per person.
Acceptable use
Prank orders and refusing an order without a reason are not allowed. We may add a strike to the account; after two strikes cash on delivery is blocked for that number and device.
Responsibility
The store is responsible for the quality and safety of its products. If something is wrong with an order, tap “Report a problem” on the order page within 7 days and we will help with the store.
